High Assurance Ethernet Encryption

The TCE 731 is a high-speed Ethernet encryption device designed to secure network communications with end-to-end security services. Enhanced to comply with NATO Transec Directives, the system is designed to protect information of the highest NATO classification. It includes centralised crypto network planning and management with support for long-term key generation using the TCE 115 KGC or eCustodian.

  • Based on IEEE Ethernet security standards
  • Delivered with either Suite A Mercator or Suite B AES algorithms
  • Secure communication between devices is managed through Ethernet Access Groups (EAG)
  • Each EAG protects one or more VLANs, providing automatic establishment of Security Associations

Mobile Operations

The TCE 621/M is a compact encryptor, specially designed to support highly mobile operations.The TCE 621/M is designed for use in hostile tactical environments. Its small size and simplified setup makes it ideal for end-user handling and management without support of COMSEC experts.

Self contained key generation

The Cryptel®-KGC is a common Key Generation Centre for all Thales Cryptel® family encryption products and provides nations with the ability to generate their own national crypto keys for crypto equipment with origin from Thales in Norway.
The Cryptel®-KGC is a standalone solution to generate, store and prepare keys for manual distribution by electronic fill devices, smart cards and CD/DVDs.

Cryptel®-Network Management

The Cryptel®-Network Management system is designed for efficient centralised management of both Ethernet and IP encryption based crypto networks.

  • Crypto Planner (CPL) for offline planning of crypto networks
  • Network and Security Management Centre (NSMC) for online monitoring and configuration of TCE 731 Ethernet encryption and TCE 72 IP encryption based crypto networks
  • TCE 671 Security Management Centre (SMC) for online monitoring and configuration of TCE 621 IP encryption based networks
